Welcome to 4th Grade!
Welcome parents and students to our 4th grade class page. I am thrilled to be teaching you this school year. I believe by working together, each of us will successfully be the best we can be. During this school year, we will be reading many wonderful stories filled with adventure and information. Hopefully you will develop a love of reading just like mine. In addition to reading, you will be learning new math concepts where you will develop your skills in multiplication, division, and fractions. We will also explore different topics in science and learn all about the history of New York. I look forward to a wonderful school year!

All About Me!
I began my college adventure at Suffolk Community College and then transferred to St. Joseph's College in Patchogue where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Education. During my first year of teaching at SMT, I decided to continue my education and eventually earned my Master's Degree in Special Education from LIU in Brentwood. I have been teaching at SMT for 25 years and I can honestly say I've enjoyed every minute. I am also involved in Student Government and love working with the students and hearing their ideas of how we could make SMT a fun place to go to everyday.
