Homework Week 2

           I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  This is the first week the children will have spelling and “high frequency words.”  Although the children are not tested on the high frequency words, it is important for your children to recognize these words while reading. In addition, these words are very common when we practice writing in our journal.  We will be reviewing them during the week at school and the continued practice at home is important for their success.  Thank you for all you do!
Reminders: -We will be working on our I-ready diagnostic this week for Reading
-Thursday is back to school night
- Children DO NOT have to include “high frequency words” in their homework, however, they may do so as enrichment.
