Educating Children in Faith,
Academics, and Service
I received my Associate's Degree from Suffolk County Community College in 2005 where I minored in Child Study. I attended St. Joseph's College in Patchogue from 2005 until 2007. Here, I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and became certified to teach from grades birth through 6th grade. In January 2009, I went on to complete my Master's Degree online through Clarion University in Pennsylvania. I received a Masters in Library Science in December of 2010, where I am certified in adult and children's library services.
I have worked at Islip Public Library since March of 2015. There I am able to implement programs and reading clubs, as well as get an advance screening of all new books and ideas. I am looking forward to working with your children this year and showing them that when it comes to reading, nothing is impossible. I want them to view the library as a new world of learning, imagination, and fun.
